We focus on elevating the performance of governance, risk, and compliance program functions to maximize their effectiveness and value.
Our Managing Principal, Nancy Roht, holds a Masters in Health Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Compliance, and she is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) by the Healthcare Compliance Certification Board. She imparts over 20 years of experience in governance, compliance, ethics, and research to Client engagements. She has served in academic settings, multistate integrated healthcare systems, and non-profit and for-profit environments, having held compliance, privacy, and governance roles both inside organizations and as a consultant.
We believe that consultants should listen first. We endeavor to understand each healthcare Client's unique compliance program, risks, culture, and objectives to develop a tailored, actionable and achievable work plan aimed at meeting our Client's needs.
We are practical, pragmatic, flexible, creative, and cost-effective. We eschew consultant "speak" and instead focus on achieving the highest possible compliance program impact and value for our healthcare Clients.
We help to create and implement effective healthcare enterprise program strategies encompassing all elements of an effective compliance program, such as: developing and enhancing compliance policies and programs; assisting with internal and government investigations; auditing and monitoring for compliance; developing operational metric reporting; helping to maximize internal resources; and serving in interim compliance roles.
We perform compliance program evaluations designed to assess progress toward guidance recommendations published by the OIG and DOJ and other regulatory agencies, with tangible recommendations for program enhancement. We focus on positively positioning the program to work collaboratively and transparently with leadership.
We provide Regulatory, Compliance, and Ethics training for Boards to ensure that Directors and Executives understand industry developments, trends, enforcement actions, and the impact of future rulemaking on their compliance oversight obligations. Annual and targeted trainings are developed for employees, providers, and contractors.
